Dear Cedar Point
Families,
I can't believe the holidays are here!
Happy Thanksgiving to all! We have had a fun
year so far at Cedar Point and there is much more
fun to be had. Look for a paper calendar
coming out in December so that you can mark your
calendars for the rest of the year with all of the
cool activities that our volunteers have
planned!
We at the PTA are thankful for all of
you! You help our
teachers, administration and PTA keep the
school a fun, safe and exciting place for our
children to learn. Thank you for all that
you have done so far this year and we look forward
to meeting those of you that we haven't yet
met!
I am so thankful for Cedar Point!
Happy Holidays!

Toys for Tots |
Pack 1384 is again teaming up with Cedar
Point Elementary School's Student Council
Association (SCA) to collect toys for this year's
U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots
program.
From November 26 through December 10,
students and scouts are encouraged to drop off
new, unwrapped toys in the collection box, which
will be located in the school lobby. The toys will
be distributed to children of underprivileged
families in our area.
Stay tuned for further details about a
ceremony with the Marines, scouts and SCA to
present the toys during the school's morning
announcements on Cheetah Vision. For more
information, contact Janice Moore at
janice_moore17@yahoo.com.

DIRECTORIES
of Cedar Point Families
If
you are not yet a PTA member, you may join for
$5 and receive a free directory of
students.
If you would rather not join PTA
but would like to purchase a directory, you may do
that by sending an envelope with $4 to the
school marked "PTA DIRECTORY" with your student's

directory to the teacher within 2 days for
