The Cedar Point PTA is excited about our plans for Cheetah Fair in a few short weeks! Think pumpkins, hay bales, cotton candy, and more. Save the date for October 15 from 10:00am-1:00pm for some fun fall festival activities, like bounce houses, a petting zoo, pony rides, concessions, games. Bring your friends and family! Wristbands will be $10/child.
We are also doing a PUMPKIN FUNDRAISER! Please turn in this Cheetah Fair form Form through your child’s teacher to purchase a pumpkin from Yankey Farms through the PTA for $6.00/each.
If you are interested in volunteering for this event, please click here. The CPES PTA encourages 5th graders to volunteer, but they MUST be accompanied by a parent. High schoolers are welcome to volunteer as well!

Once again, we want to thank everyone that stopped by and had breakfast with us on Saturday morning! It was a great turnout and we were so appreciative of everyone that stepped up to help with set up, clean up, cooking, greeting. Lots of us left with full bellies and fabulous door prizes!
If you missed the breakfast, I (Samantha Allen, PTA President), gave a quick presentation about PTA and what it is we provide for our students. You can check out the powerpoint slides here. We are currently sorting through all the participation forms we’ve gotten back from you and will be reaching out to those that stepped up to help. Bear with us as we sort though it all. And thank you!
The CPES PTA is hosting Fall 2016 Student Enrichment classes October-December for our students. There is a large variety of classes this year both before and after school. Please see our Fall 2016 SEP Class Descriptions to learn about what we are offering and when. Some of the classes offer registration online; while others will register through our form (download here) that is turned in through your child’s teacher. Both of these will be going home this week. Enrollment for most classes is on a first come, first served basis unless otherwise noted. Please consider having your child bring a peanut-free snack to eat if needed.
The first 2016-2017 PTA meeting will be held on Tuesday, September 13 at 7:00 PM in the CPES library. Agenda items include review of the renewal revised bylaws and standing rules, receiving the audit, review of the proposed budget, and changing meeting times to Thursdays. Come and be a part of the PTA!
